Flexible Optical B.V. (OKO Tech) is a Dutch company specializing in the research and development of laser and high-resolution imaging adaptive optics. OKO introduces the 79-channel 15 mm membrane deformable mirror, MI4-v1, featuring optimized actuator geometry for precise low-order Zernike polynomial approximation. This mirror is the result of research and development activities funded by ECSEL through the MADEin4 project.

As a member of the MADEin4 project consortium, Flexible Optical B.V. contributes to the development of next-generation metrology tools and machine learning methods for Industry 4.0 high-volume manufacturing in the semiconductor and automotive industries.

OKO provides Zemax DLLs for realistic simulation of optical systems incorporating their deformable mirrors. These libraries facilitate design and analysis, enabling customers to evaluate the suitability of specific deformable mirror models for their applications.

The company also offers a 96-channel 25.4 mm membrane deformable mirror with embedded control electronics, powered and controlled through a single USB link. This innovative mirror allows for the construction of complete adaptive optics systems without the need for external power supplies.
