Janis Research, acquired by Lake Shore Cryotronics in 2020, boasts over 50 years of experience designing and manufacturing innovative cryogenic equipment for research applications. Their products enable scientists to achieve extremely low temperatures, ranging from below 10 mK to 800 K.

Janis offers a comprehensive suite of cryostats, including liquid nitrogen and helium models, alongside closed-cycle refrigerator systems. While Janis is now part of Lake Shore Cryotronics, their dilution refrigerator and ultra-low temperature systems remain under a separate company, JanisULT.
