Kentech Instruments Ltd., established in 1983 by a team of university scientists, specializes in manufacturing high-voltage fast pulse generator systems, x-ray streak cameras, and gated detectors. With a small yet highly skilled team of about 8 individuals, Kentech Instruments boasts a unique range of expertise and a vast network of specialist contacts. Originating from the need for reliable compact x-ray streak cameras for Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) experiments, the company delved into high-voltage switching electronics, crucial for its products.

Over the years, Kentech has evolved its designs, significantly enhancing performance metrics like peak power and rise time. From its inception, Kentech has collaborated with Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, and the Plasma Physics Group, although it maintains no formal ties. Operating from its current premises since January 2007, Kentech continues to innovate and deliver cutting-edge solutions in electronic instrumentation, serving diverse applications such as laser pulse manipulation, streak imaging, and particle beam control.
