Port City Instruments, LLC (PCI) specializes in laser-based gas sensing systems for industrial and research applications. Founded in 2010, PCI's roots trace back to Dr. Randy May's pioneering work, which began in 1985 at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and continued through his tenure as CTO/VP Product Development of SpectraSensors, Inc. With over three decades of experience, PCI offers expert consulting services for system designs, Herriott cell designs, and spectroscopic issues.

While no longer providing components or complete system builds as of January 2024, PCI remains committed to assisting clients with gas detection systems utilizing lasers across visible, near-IR, and mid-IR wavelengths.
