Our long-wavelength VCSELs, spanning from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm, boast an extensive range of packaging options, including cooled and uncooled TO packages, LC-TOSAs, and pigtails. VERTILAS VCSELs are meticulously crafted to deliver outstanding single-mode performance. For the sensing and spectroscopy markets, our standard product portfolio encompasses VCSELs for 12 main wavelengths, with the flexibility to manufacture additional wavelengths on demand.

In the realm of communications applications, VERTILAS excels in the development and production of VCSELs for 1.3 µm, 1.49 µm, and 1.55 µm, featuring impressive transmission performance ranging from 10.3 Gbps to up to 40 Gbps. Additionally, our expertise extends to crafting 1D and 2D VCSEL arrays for specific customer needs.

At VERTILAS, our VCSEL technology empowers system designers to achieve over 50% reduction in power consumption compared to alternative laser technologies. Since our establishment in December 2001, with roots in the Semiconductor Technology Group at the Walter Schottky Institute of the Technical University of Munich, we have consistently pushed the boundaries of laser diode innovation.
