SOMTA Bundled Optical Fibers are a type of optical fiber used for transmitting light signals.
Types B and D SOMTA Bundled Optical Fibers do not fluoresce at 254 nm excitation and do not discolor under gamma- or X-ray or VUV radiation.
There are four types of SOMTA Bundled Optical Fibers available: Type A WF polyimide coated quartz/quartz fiber, Type B UV polyimide coated quartz/quartz fiber, Type C WF PCS fiber, and Type D UV PCS fiber.
The numerical aperture of Types A and B SOMTA Bundled Optical Fibers is 0.22 (±10%).
The temperature range for Type IV ferrule of SOMTA Bundled Optical Fibers is -40º C to +260º C along the edge.
