Foresight Fiber Optic Brillouin Distributed Temperature Sensors
Description
The OZ Optics Foresight™ family of Fiber Optic Brillouin Distributed Temperature Sensors (B-DTS) are advanced optical sensor systems that utilize stimulated Brillouin scattering to measure temperature changes along the entire length of an optical fiber.
These distributed sensors offer a direct and fast method of temperature measurement, with a high spatial resolution, and long sensing range. The B-DTS is immune to attenuation changes and uses low-cost telecom single-mode fiber, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
