FiberTech Ultrasol Fibers - 84808004F
Description
Progressive absorption of the fibers to the point of complete failure occurs when using UV-VIS fibers < 240 nm. Our solarisation- stable fibers can be used for applications in this critical range. These newly developed fibers with high OH content are characterised by very good transmission in the 190–250 nm range. A deuterium light source was used for the measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions
The relative transmission of these fibers varies depending on the irradiation time with a deuterium lamp, but typical values are provided in the datasheet.
These fibers are solarisation-stable and do not experience progressive absorption to the point of complete failure like UV-VIS fibers < 240 nm.
The coating material used for these fibers is polyimide, with Nylon or Tefzel optionally available.
These fibers are suitable for applications in the 190-250 nm range.
The fiber bundles have a single-fiber core diameter of 30 μm.
