ArmD® NIR with a hard polymer buffer is available with NA 0,37, 0.48, 0.52, and 0.57.

ArmD® UV and ArmD® NIR fiber are used for applications including spectroscopy, Thomson scattering, and medical diagnostics.

The minimum bending radius is 50 × cladding diameter (short-term mechanical stress) and 150 × core diameter (during use with high laser power).

The numerical aperture (NA) for ArmD® UV is 0,12 ± 0,02 or customised and for ArmD® NIR is standard 0,22 ± 0,02.

The wavelength range for ArmD® UV is 190 – 1200 nm and for ArmD® NIR is 300 – 2400 nm.
