Description
Here's a mid-size 10-port network switch that covers all the bases. The web-smart managed SG71070M provides 8 ports of 100M/1G/10G ethernet copper with RJ45 connectors and 2 slots for 1G/10G fiber optic SFP modules. All the RJ45 ports support automatic MDI/MDI-X operation, auto-negotiation, and IEEE 802.3x auto-negotiation of flow control. For the SFP slots, VERSITRON offers alarge selection of SFP modules (sold separately). Note: See Datasheet at the bottom of this page. These include 1G SFPs with distances to 100km and 10G SFPs with distances to 80km. The SG7107M also features full-duplex capability on all ports, effectively doubling the bandwidth of each connection. This product utilizes store-and-forward technology to ensure maximum data integrity. With this technology, the entire packet must be received into a buffer and checked for validity before forwarded. This prevents errors from being propagated through-out the network. The SG7107M delivers the robust features you need to protect your sensitive information and optimize your bandwidth.And it is easy to install and use.
