The purpose of the CEx module is to enable existing PON services to coexist with XGS-PON, NG-PON2, RF video, OTDR, and other current and future technologies.
The FTTx cassette CEx modules can operate in temperature environments ranging from -10°C to +65°C, while the LGX module CEx modules can operate in temperature environments ranging from -40°C to +70°C.
The LGX CEx WDM modules are tested to IEC 61300-2-1, -9, -21, -22, -26 and GR-1209 requirements.
The CEx module features very low insertion loss and PDL, high isolation, excellent environmental and mechanical stability, premium grade components and connectivity, and compliance with G.984.5 and RoHS standards.
The CEx module can be used for CWDM vs DWDM systems, GPON XGS-PON systems, FTTH access networks, and optical telecommunication networks.
