Description
The LFIBER Free-Space Compact CWDM 1×8 (+1) module is a high-performance optical multiplexer designed for efficient wavelength management in dense communication systems. Featuring a compact form factor and leveraging cutting-edge free-space optics, this CWDM module supports both unidirectional and bidirectional transmission across eight CWDM channels plus one upgrade port. It operates over the standardized ITU grid, with central wavelengths ranging from 1270 nm to 1610 nm.
Engineered for low insertion loss, high channel isolation, and exceptional return loss, it is ideal for demanding applications in metro networks, access networks, and optical add/drop multiplexing systems. The module comes in three performance grades—Ultra Low Loss (U), P Grade, and A Grade—to accommodate varying network requirements. Each configuration is SMF-28e fiber compatible and supports high optical power up to 300 mW.
