Description
The Connet MFAP-1550-M-SF is a high-performance 1.5 µm CW single frequency polarization maintaining fiber amplifier, engineered for applications that demand precise signal fidelity and robust power output. Designed to amplify narrow-linewidth signals down to the kilohertz level, this module delivers up to 10W of output power while maintaining a near diffraction-limited beam quality (M² < 1.5).
Utilizing a multi-stage optical amplification architecture, the MFAP series suppresses nonlinear effects such as Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS), preserving the integrity of the input signal. With its eye-safe 1550 nm wavelength, excellent polarization extinction ratio (PER ≥ 20 dB typical), and support for kHz-level signal amplification, this amplifier is an ideal choice for coherent LiDAR, space laser communication, interferometric sensing, and cold atom research.
The system includes advanced control options via RS232 and supports both ACC and APC modes.
