Description
Amonics & NICT (National Institute of Information and Communications technology, Japan) co-developed EDFAs are designed for transient suppression. The results are EDFAs that possess high output power, high gain with very low noise , low gain excursion and are ideal for Optical packet Switching (OPS) applications. The turnkey microprocessor controlled EDFAs manage alarms and status indicators. An integrated RS232 or Ethernet computer interface enables easy control, diagnostic functions and data acquisition.
