Access CO2 Laser: Merit-S
Description
Wavelength Tunable CO2 lasers are used for spectroscopy, interferometry and far IR laser pumping. In order to provide discreet lines Access lasers harness different laser modes.
The simplest version is line stabilized by changing the resonator length. Depending on the laser output, the temperature and the resonator length, this method only provides access to several lines.
Far more lines are available with the grating tuned versions. Due to the use of a high definition dispersive element, depending on the model, up to 50 lines and more can be selected.
The additional line tracker provides even greater line stability.
