This laser type employs a semiconductor laser with a fixed wavelength output in lieu of traditional Krypton or Xenon Lamps for crystal pumping. Consequently, this enhanced laser is dubbed the 2nd generation of CW pump laser (G2-A), renowned for its high efficiency, extended lifespan, excellent beam quality, stability, compactness, and miniaturization.
