Frequently Asked Questions
The HTS Series is a collection of thermopile sensor chips housed in a TO-39 transistor housing. It offers high sensitivity, reproducibility, and reliability, with a small temperature coefficient of sensitivity.
The HTS Series offers three thermopile sensor chip options: TP1, TP3, and integrated thermopile sensors (HIS series) that combine a thermopile sensor chip with an ASIC in a TO-39 housing.
The TP1 thermopile chip is well suited for temperature measurements that require a precise measuring spot.
The TP3 thermopile chip is optimized for highest signal outputs.
The HTS Series has a large operating range of -20°C to 120°C.
