Frequently Asked Questions

LBO is a nonlinear optical crystal with unique properties such as wide transparency range, high nonlinear coupling, high damage threshold, and good chemical and mechanical properties.

The damage threshold of LBO is greater than 18.9 GW/cm2 for a 1.3ns laser at 1053nm and greater than 25 GW/cm2 for a 10 ns laser at 1064 nm.

Protective (P) and Anti-reflection (AR) coatings are available upon request for LBO.

The transmission range of LBO is from 0.21μm to 2.3 μm.

LBO has two phase matching types: Type I and Type II.
