Vacuum Cell Spatial Filter for High Peak Power Lasers
Description
The Vacuum Spatial Filter & Vacuum Cell designed for Pulsed Lasers and characterized with high peak power
Vacuum Spatial Filter (VSF), is a vacuumed borosilicate glass cell at which center lays titanium pinhole. Spatial filter, a usual technique used to improve laser beam quality by removing noise from laser beams and resulting a smooth intensity profile. Since pulsed lasers have much higher pike power, vacuum cell is the only alternative, therefore a microscope objective (used to use for CW lasers) cannot be used to focus pulsed laser beams in to a pinhole because of COD.
Geola Digital designs and manufactures Vacuum Cells, which are intended for pulsed laser application. The cells can be manufactured with pinhole at the center (VSF) or without pinhole inside the cell (VC).

Frequently Asked Questions
The Vacuum Cell Spatial Filter is designed to improve laser beam quality by removing noise and creating a smooth intensity profile.
Pulsed lasers have high peak power, and a vacuum cell is the only alternative to focus the laser beams into a pinhole without causing damage.
No, a microscope objective cannot be used to focus pulsed laser beams into a pinhole due to COD (Center of Distortion) issues.
The Vacuum Cell Spatial Filter is available in various cell diameters ranging from 5 mm to 38 mm and lengths from 100 mm to 1500 mm.
The pinhole is made of titanium or stainless steel, and the windows are made of BK7 or UVFS glass with coatings for optimal performance.
