50G Fiber Bragg Gratings Filter
Description
When the channel spacing getting narrower, FBG filter gains its advantages of precise center wavelength position and channel extraction capability. Broptics makes 50G FBG filter specifically for high demanding Dense WDM and Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer applications. While Thin Film filter is technically uneasy to meet 50G filter requirement, FBG filter is matured for mass production. While Array Waveguide Gratings is more economic for high channel count applications, FBG becomes the more cost effective selection. Thanks to TempSmart patent-pending athermal packaging, the temperature variation is within 0.5pm/℃ in the operating temperature range.
