Features
FEMTOPlus® Grati ngs eliminate the negati ve polarizati on eff ects for
best measurement results and show only very low scatt ering losses
for extra-long array confi gurati ons in additi on to high temperature
stability and very good tensile strength.
The type FFT.FBG.P.00.01/2 are FBGs inscribed in acrylate coated
standard telecom fi ber, which are an effi cient low cost soluti on for
standard applicati ons. These are well suited for temperature and
strain measurements up to 85°C (high temperature acrylate up to
180°C) and especially for applicati ons which involve large fi ber length.
Additi onally, the germanium doped fi ber has a very low bending loss.
Using FEMTOPlus® Grati ngs eliminates negati ve polarizati on eff ects
on measurement accuracy that result from polarized light sources or
from vibrati ons and movements within the sensing/cabling system.
Diff erent FBG refl ecti vity levels are available depending
on the requirements of the interrogati on unit.
