Motorized Z-Axis Unit MZA-3850
Description
Motorized Z-Axis Units from this series are fabricated from high-grade anodized aluminum and stainless steel to provide high speed linear positioning of various autofocus and/or laser process head designs. A high torque DC servo motor, belt drive, and precision ball screw provide trouble free operation.
The linear stage is guided via (4) miniature recirculating ball trucks. Stage over-travel limits are sensed by non-contact proximity sensors. All precision components are enclosed within a lightweight, internally sealed enclosure.
Optional features include an encoder for use as a CNC controlled Z-Axis. Motorized Z-Axis units are available in 25mm (1.0"), 38mm (1.5") and 50mm (2.0") clear apertures, with linear strokes of 25mm (1.0"), 50mm (2.0") and 100mm (4.0").
