The laser should be powered with negative current on the laser contact (bonding pad) and positive current on the base contact (submount). It is recommended to use a power-supply ILX Lightwave LDX-3232 or equivalent.
Operating the laser with higher current or voltage than specified in the document may cause damage and will result in loss of warranty, unless Alpes Lasers has permitted to do so.
The maximum operation current for the laser is 1.01A for all temperatures.
