1064 Single-Frequency DBR Fiber-Coupled|Optically Packaged IsoBragg
Description
The Photodigm IsoBragg™ 1064nm is an advanced fiber-coupled, optically isolated Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) laser diode package, designed for high stability, precision, and superior power performance. It features single-frequency operation with a single spatial mode beam, ensuring excellent spectral purity and low noise for demanding applications.
Built on Photodigm’s proprietary Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) DBR laser technology, the IsoBragg™ incorporates a ≥30 dB optical isolator, significantly reducing back reflections and improving performance in sensitive environments. The output is efficiently coupled into a 1-meter-long polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber, terminated with an FC/APC male connector for seamless integration.
The IsoBragg™ offers a power range of 50 to 200 mW, a low numerical aperture (NA) of 0.12, and precision temperature control via an integrated TEC module. Its compact aluminum 6061 housing (58.0 x 27.0 x 20.0 mm) ensures durability while maintaining portability.
Ideal for applications such as high-resolution spectroscopy, quantum optics, and metrology, the IsoBragg™ 1064nm laser is a powerful solution for researchers and engineers requiring high stability, low noise, and superior optical isolation.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Photodigm IsoBragg™ 1064nm laser is designed to provide single-frequency, high-stability laser output for applications that require precise, low-noise performance. It features optical isolation (≥30 dB) to minimize back reflections, ensuring reliable operation in sensitive systems like spectroscopy, metrology, and quantum optics.
The IsoBragg™ 1064nm laser offers an adjustable power range from 50 mW to 200 mW, allowing flexibility for a variety of precision applications. The power range is dependent on the chosen device architecture and wavelength, providing tailored solutions for different experimental setups.
The IsoBragg™ 1064nm laser is coupled into a 1-meter-long polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber, which ensures the preservation of polarization during transmission. The fiber is terminated with an FC/APC male connector, facilitating easy integration with external systems.
The IsoBragg™ laser is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD), so it should be handled in a grounded work area using an anti-static wrist strap. Additionally, it must be stored in an antistatic container with all leads shorted together to protect the device from damage.
The integrated optical isolator in the IsoBragg™ laser provides ≥30 dB of isolation, effectively blocking any back reflections from the laser output. This minimizes interference with the laser's performance, improves signal integrity, and enhances the overall stability of sensitive optical systems, making it ideal for high-precision applications.
