Its high-performance smart driver automatically detects diode pinout and offers auto-current or auto-power control modes. The integrated TEC controller ensures accurate and repeatable measurements by maintaining the diode at its optimal operating temperature.
Safety is a top priority with multiple levels of laser diode protection, including adjustable current limiters, automatic pinout detection, and frequent sensor range checks. Passcode protection prevents unauthorized access, while hardware interlocks disable the laser in response to unsafe lab conditions.
This comprehensive analyzer package includes a calibrated optical power meter and a thermally controlled laser head for 5.6 mm package laser diodes. A sliding quick-change mechanism simplifies diode swapping for efficient testing. Additional laser head options for 3.8 mm and 9 mm package laser diodes are available upon request, and custom connectors can be used to test butterfly laser diode packages and user-designed laser heads.
