Description
Up to 4 Gbps SFF/SFP Laser Driver in 4X4 MLF Package The M02061 is a highly integrated, programmable laser driver intended for SFP/SFF module applications to 4.25 Gbps. Using differential PECL data and clock inputs, the M02061 supplies the bias and modulation current required to drive an edge-emitting laser. The M02061 includes automatic power control to maintain a constant average laser output power over temperature and life. In addition, the modulation current can be temperature compensated to minimize variation in extinction ratio over temperature. Many features are user adjustable, including the automatic power control (APC) loop bias control (via a monitor photodiode), modulation current, temperature compensation control of modulation current, and pulse-width adjustment.
