Description
The PGx01 series is a high energy broadly tunable picosecond Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA) designed to offer ultra-broad tuning capabilities from 193 to 16,000 nm. With its high peak power (>50 MW), this OPA is ideal for various non-linear spectroscopy applications.
It boasts a narrow linewidth of <6 cm⁻¹ (for UV < 9 cm⁻¹) and provides motorized hands-free tuning in either the 193–2,300 nm or 2,300–16,000 nm range, making it a versatile tool for laser spectroscopy experiments. The PGx01 series also features PC control and remote control via a keypad.

It is an ultra-fast tunable coherent light source used for nonlinear spectroscopy, pump-probe experiments, laser-induced fluorescence, and other laser spectroscopy applications.
The PG401 model has a tuning range from 420 to 2300 nm and can be extended to the widest possible tuning range of 193 to 16000 nm with optional second harmonic generator (SHG), Sum frequency Generator (DUV) or Difference frequency Generator (DFG) stages.
The PG501 model has the highest pulse energy in the near-IR spectral range and has a tuning range from 680 to 2300 nm. Optional DFG stages are available for extension of tuning range to the 2300 – 16000 nm region.
The PG701 model is targeted for vibrational-SfG or infrared spectroscopy applications and has a tuning range from 1395 to 4500 nm.
