This is an Acousto-Optic Modulator (AOM) / Frequency Shifter operating at 1550 nm and 40 MHz repetition rate. It features fast modulation speed, low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, low power consumption, good temperature stability and high performance reliability. Thanks to these characteristics it is an ideal choice for Q-switching, laser pulse picking and ultrafast laser systems (in both picosecond and femtosecond range).
