MDFG1-0.5-1Crystal 737-786nm + 1064nm
Description
The MDFG1 is designed for Difference Frequency Generation (DFG) from a Nd:YAG laser and a tunable Ti-Sapphire (or similar) lasers, for mid-IR generation in the2.4-3µm range. The output wavelength can be tuned with each PPLN grating by adjusting the input laser wavelength and varying the PPLN temperature.

The MDFG1 is designed for Difference Frequency Generation (DFG) from a Nd:YAG laser and a tunable Ti-Sapphire (or similar) lasers, for mid-IR generation in the 2.4-3µm range.
The output wavelength can be tuned with each PPLN grating by adjusting the input laser wavelength and varying the PPLN temperature.
The features of the MDFG1 include multi-band AR coating, flatness <λ/4@633nm, parallelism to ±5 minutes, better than 70:30 mark-to-space ratio, polished to 20-10 scratch dig, and fewer than two 100μm edge chips per facet.
The DFG device material is Magnesium doped Lithium Niobate with nine periodically poled gratings.
The optical finish of the facets F1 and F2 is within 20/10 scratch dig with λ/8@1064 nm. There are no more than two 100µm size chips per end facet.
