Fiber Bragg Gratings Sensor OS 1500
Description
Fiber Bragg Gratings has been regarded as the most accurate and versatile optic sensors by many research and practice. Broptics OS 1500 optical sensor is specifically designed for Micron Optics FBG interrogation instruments and similar detectors. The sensor gratings are directly written on standard single mode fiber (SMF-28 or equivalent) for its very low attenuation, very low splicing loss, and low cost. It is very easily chained up to 20 sensors in an array for kilo-meters distance, and still be very sharply detected by Micron Optics instrument. Other types of FBG sensors, grating specs, fibers, and athermal packaging are available. Please contact us directly.
