Corning® microHSI 410 Sensor
Description
This Slit-scan Hyperspectral Imager has a patented solid body optical system. The unique design, made from a single block of high index optical material offers an extremely robust construction, immune to alignment loss from shock and vibration. By filling the optical path with a high index material, the system has much greater through-put then conventional free space optical systems. Allowing for higher spectral detectivity than any competitive design on the market. (Immersion of the optical system increases the sensitivity by the square of the index of refraction.) Available as a stand alone sensor; with a scanning platen for laboratory use; and as a turn-key package for airborne reconnaissance, with software and built-in GPS/INS.
