Frequently Asked Questions

SERS substrates are used to enhance Raman signals, allowing the detection of analytes at extremely low concentrations. They are applied in pharmaceuticals, environmental monitoring, chemical and biological threat detection, food safety, narcotic detection, and early disease detection.

Nefer Ka's SERS substrates utilize gold nanocaps on a textured polymer, which provides ultra-low background signal, a high signal-to-noise ratio, and allows for ultra-high-volume production through a scalable roll-to-roll process.

Nefer Ka's SERS substrates are compatible with laser wavelengths of 532 nm, 633 nm (recommended), and 785 nm. The maximum laser power density is 20 W/cm².

The substrates can detect analytes with a sensitivity range from parts per million (ppm) to parts per billion (ppb), making them highly effective for ultra-low concentration analysis.

Nefer Ka's SERS substrates are designed for ease of use, with the active area affixed to a microscope slide, ensuring convenient handling and application during experiments.
