Frequently Asked Questions
The RC2 ellipsometer combines the best features of previous models with innovative new technology, including dual rotating compensators, achromatic compensator design, advanced light source, and next-generation spectrometer design.
The RC2 ellipsometer is a near-universal solution for the diverse applications of spectroscopic ellipsometry and Mueller matrix ellipsometry.
The RC2 ellipsometer is the first commercially available ellipsometer to collect all 16 elements of the Mueller matrix, allowing for the characterization of advanced samples and nanostructures.
The RC2 ellipsometer covers wavelengths from the ultraviolet (down to 193 nm) to the extended near infrared (up to 2500 nm).
The RC2 ellipsometer allows for the simultaneous collection of the entire spectrum (over 1000 wavelengths) in a fraction of a second, thanks to the synchronous operation of both compensators.
